2. Product introduction:

BLDC motor tester is suit for testing various motors used in home appliances such as air conditioner, fans, air blower, and air purifier. There are two types of BLDC motor distinguished by the position of driver; one is internal driver motor and the other one is external driver motor. Test items are different depending on the motor type.

4. Test items:

4.1 Internal driver BLDC motor:

No-loading (optional): no-loading current, no-load power, no-load speed, rotation, FG testing.

Safety: AC Hipot, insulation resistance.

Low voltage start: adjusting voltage of Vsp or Vm to test the performance of motor.

On-loading: on-load current, on-load power, on-load speed, rotation.

4.2 External driver BLDC motor:

Safety: AC Hipot, insulation resistance, impulse, DC winding resistance, (testing of motor stator)

Hall: high level, low level, duty cycle, frequency.

On-load performance: on-load current, on-load power, on-load speed, rotation.

On-load torque/speed is subject to standard sample, tolerance can be set.

Back EMF: EMF voltage, phase, phase difference between back EMF and Hall, (not including motor without Hall inside).

 

5. Test procedure:

  • Set the test sequence and parameters range as per motor testing requirements, choose or establish the motor type file before setting (the motor type needs to be established only for the first time).
  • Put the tested object on the right position of the test bench and clamp.
  • Press the start button to start the test, and the yellow light flashing means in test.
  • All items will be tested in sequence as per the setting, and the operator is not allowed to touch the motor during the test.
  • After the test, pass or fail signal will be displayed.
