3. Testing machine introduction

3.1 The testing machine records the testing data and calculates the testing result automatically. Test can be performed continuously and steadily with automatic data analyzing and comparing function. The alarm will be triggered automatically if the stator is unqualified.

3.2 Over 1000 models of testing data can be saved in the testing machine, automatic model filter function. The established model and test item can be selected.

3.3 Test setting. Both the automatic test mode and standard test mode can be selected. Under standard test mode, click the start on the test interface by mouse to start the test. Under automatic test mode, pressing two start buttons to start the test. “If NG continue” or “If NG stop” are available options in case of failed test item during the test.

3.4 Light sensor protesting curtains are assembled on the two side of the testing machine to avoid the object enter into the testing area during the test. The alarm will be triggered if any object across the light sensor and the test will be stopped.

3.5 There are two test stations. Each station equipped with customized fixture inside of the vacuum cover.

 

4. Introduction of the stator surge test under vacuum status

4.1  How to detect the insulation resistance between the enameled wires?

Surge test can detect this.Although there are many ways to test the winding surge, the surge voltage impulse method is commonly used internationally. Because this method has the advantages of simple circuit and convenient operation, the voltage can be applied to the test object directly.

4.2 Why to use the vacuum testing machine to test the surge?

The windings imperfection is more easily to be detected under negative pressure environment. The arc will be longer at the same voltage if the pressure is lower. The testing environment is close to vacuum state but not complete vacuum given the fact that the discharge won’t occur under complete vacuum environment.
